Holds are the main mechanic of the Neo Cosmos DLC that first appear in World T1. They can be hit by holding down the button, akin to other rhythm games.

The Wind planet is a third planet that first appears in World T4.

Freeroam tiles first appear in World T3. These are a grid of tiles that can be freely navigated.

Medals are a record system that only exist for Neo Cosmos worlds. The boss level of each world is split into multiple sections, which when completed give medals depending on performance. Completing a section gives the player a bronze medal, completing it with Perfects only[2] gives a silver medal, and completing it with Pure Perfects only[3] gives a gold medal. After completing the boss level, double-clicking each medal brings the player to the corresponding section.
